The Philips Advance 74P8003-011-P 100 Watt High Pressure Sodium Cylinder Lamp Autotransformer is one of the highest performing Postline Ballasts available on the market when it comes to post mount lighting and pole mounted fixtures. It is built specifically with an elongated core and coil design, it is potted in resin and then secured inside a cylindrical can. With its 2.55" outside diameter it is the perfect product to fit inside any fixtures that are mounted on a pole. The Philips Advance "74P8003-011-P" also comes with leads that enable you to connect it directly to a photocell. The capacitor and ignitor (where required) also come housed within the can.

Because this postline ballasts is rated at 100W HPS S54 lamp, it comes with a mounting kit consisting of an 18 inch chain so that the ballast can hang within the pole, and a spring clip to force the transformers cylindrical can to make contact with the pole's interior surface. This assists in maximizing the heat transfer, helping prolong the ballasts life. To keep the hps ballast easy to install it also comes with a half inch threaded nipple and leads that extend from both ends of the can. All input leads also provide for proper connection to a photo control if one is needed.
