Choosing the Right T8 Ballast for You

Step 1
Choosing the right wattage - Most F32T8 tube light ballast will operate a variety of wattage. Typically they will operate F17T8 (2ft), F25T8 (3ft), F32T8 (4ft) and F40T8(4ft) linear fluorescent lamps. No matter what wattage you need, please check the specifications very carefully to ensure you get the proper product.

Step 2
Know how many lamps you want to operate - Typically you can choose T8 tube light ballast that will operate either 1-2 lamps or it will run 3-4 at a time. Again, please read the specification carefully before ordering.

Instant Start vs. Programmed Rapid Start - Instant start and programmed start T8 ballasts employ impressive technologies, however, they are intended for different applications.
