Philips Advance 74P7803-011-P postline ballasts are the leading products for lighting on lantern type fixtures. They are specially designed with an elongated core and coil transformer which are potted in resin and then inside a cylindrical can. Being 12.80" in length, 2.60" in width and having only a 2.55" outside diameter this 50W HPS postline ballast is perfect for any kind of fixture mounted on a slender pole. It also comes with the leads necessary for direct connection to a photocell.

The capacitor and ignitor (where required) come within the can. A half inch threaded nipple can be used for mounting vertically, and leads can extend from either ends to make installation as easy as possible.
